Ilya R. Espino de Marotta is currently the Deputy Administrator of the Panama Canal Authority. She has worked at the Panama Canal for more than 30 years in various roles, but is best known for being the first woman to be appointed as Executive Vice President for Engineering. As the lead engineer on the Canal expansion project, she had to overcome skepticism of her capabilities. She wore a pink hard hat and safety vest while overseeing the Panama Canal expansion to show that a woman can do the job.
Angelique A. David is the Executive Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Ziegler, a privately held investment bank. Angelique oversees all of the day-to-day functions of the business, which include: legal, compliance, IT, human resources, marketing, accounting, research, and office services. Angelique also serves as a Director on Ziegler's Board of Directors and is a member of its Executive Committee. Prior to joining Ziegler, Angelique practiced law at Locke Lord Bissell and Liddell, LLP.
